Robert and Julie have been in the T-Shirt business for over 30 years. They live and work in the shadow of Table Mountain. Cape Town. South Africa.

Dirt Shirts came about in 2012 when they were watching the popular Mike Rowe on Discovery Channel’s Dirty Jobs. One of the ‘jobs’ was a T-shirt factory in Hawaii who dyed t-shirts with red dirt.

We thought..’what a great idea”. Africa has a lot of red dirt, After sourcing an African 100% Cotton T-shirts and a lot of red dirt and 18 months of tests brought us to where we are today. Since then ….thousands of people from around the world have taken a little bit of Africa back home.
